Arsene Wenger, arguably the most successful manager in the history of Arsenal Football Club, the man who won 3 league titles, 4 FA cups and 4 Community shields with over 30 individual awards. The same man who was voted ‘World coach of the decade’ from 2000-2010.
Well, how did such a successful manager change into a manager who was once loved by every single Arsenal fan turn into an issue less than 20% of Arsenal fans wanting him to remain as manager and the other 80% wanting him out of this club?
The main reason is the 7 years trophless draught, the club unwilling to invest in the current squad also a change of ambition from Mr Wenger and those up there (the board).
Oh Yes this ambition may have been changed due to the move from the famous Highbury the multi-million new stadium.. Emirates, which meant financially we became (words of the board) weak but 7 years on surely no Arsenal fan is deluded enough to believe that we are still financially weak.
From the Invisible squad of Lehmann, Lauren, Kolo Toure, Sol Campbell, Cole, Fredie Ljungberg, Vieira, Gilberto Silva, Robert Pires, Denis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry, The team that went 49 games unbeaten securing the league title UNBEATEN! and the double (Oh my how I am missing those class of fighter). Into a squad of Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Walcott, Arteta, Santi, Wilshere, Rosicky,Podolski, Giroud.
Tremendous how a team can change so quickly. Not to mention the fact we are still selling star players season by season. We have seen the likes of Cole, Toure, Adebayor, Vieira, Fabregas, Henry, Nasri, Clichy, Song, RVP etc and soon to be our best player so far this season Theo Walcott. We lost our talisman and captain Robin van Persie the start of the season to our rivals Manchester United who has not stop scoring and wining games for them.
Also Arsene Wenger and those people up there ( the board) are failing to convince our star players that we can win trophies also letting their contracts run down to one year leaving us with no option but to sell them or else we lose them on a Bossman rule ( Free). This is abysmal. They should be sorting it out the contract two years before, not with a year left. It also reduces the sell on fee as the player would be a free agent the following season. Ridiculous.
No doubt Wenger is still a genius tactically. How he got us into the top 4 with the likes of Manchester United/City, Chelsea, Spurs etc spending big is realistically unbelievable for the past 7 seasons But this is not good enough, trophies are something worth boasting about not getting in a competition for money then getting bullied by the big clubs in Europe.
Every player wants to be remembered one day that he won a certain trophy not playing in the Champions league and get knocked out, Also another worrying sign is always protecting the so called players when they fail plus not taking the domestic cups seriously in the previous seasons. I can’t believe a manger of his kind will still be experimenting with fringe players out of position, it really hurts watching Ramsey who is not willing to work hard play as a winger whiles Arshavin is not even on the bench, Gervinho who doesn’t know when to pass nor shoot play as a central forward whiles the likes of Theo are left on Bench.
Sometimes it doesn’t take an eagle eyes person to know this kind of mistake/ gambles he is making, atleast we know where and the favourite positions of most of our players so you can’t just experiment because you did one years ago and it worked.
This disappoints me as well as most gooner on this planet except those blinded by lies, we want trophies as well as Champions League football. Trophies are what our players are leaving for. Not money.
Most fans criticise our departed player for leaving for money but we all know most of them left because the saw the club and management lack ambitions and the eager to win silverwares.
Wenger, with the resources he gets and
manages to beat to odds to make it into the top 4 sums up his genius side of football. But him and the board are
clueless now and as I always say on twitter Miracles do not happen twice.
It all sums up to a simple question , do I want Wenger to stay or leave? Yes I out because he failed previous season and is not ready to learn or doesn’t want to gamble, mush respect to Sir Alex Ferguson who takes a gamble each season purchasing players he think will help him retain his status but with Wenger no, he thinks he knows everything by going in for fringe lads, develops them and the board cash them out like we running a supermarket business or a poultry farm.
He was once a genius but now, he has lost all the faith I had in him completely. I did say last night after the Capital one cup exist that, I won’t be investing in the team anymore until I see they are repaying me with achievements. I have been to almost all Arsenal games excluding the trip to Greece and Germany this season just to watch us lose and the players show lack of fighting spirit, seriously enough is enough until I see changes I won’t waste a penny on match tickets.
Most fans will be saying it is not his fault but the boards, please wake up from the delusional dreams because how can You expect to work for a company/cooperation who wants profits without Investing ? If he did stood up to them in those previous season this won’t be our stand so for me I think Wenger is tarnishing his great legacy with Failure.

In my own opinion, i think board should hold meeting and sack wenger since pep guardiola have choose arsenal as his first choice. So i wish board should sack him before he ruin the team bcos i know that very soon he will plan on how to sell santi cazorla, theo walcott, jack wilshere and szenzny. The board will not sack wenger…why? Because wenger and the board are business partners aiming for the same goal “money!!!”and “failure”. We the fans are the people who can pull him out by making him feel hell on earth…by shouting in all arsenal games for him to resign.

I think wenger should honorably step down or the board should sack him. And then lets give pep Guadiola a chance because he is more passionate about trophy than profit. Wenger is failing because he is pursuing two things at a time trophy and profit. It is rare for a coach to aim as such and succeed. Most successful coaches aims only at trophy, e.g Morinho, Guadiola A. V. B., Alex Ferguson etc. Lets give Guadiola a chance. Clueless and stingy management pls do it right for once.

I just imagine Arsenal is a Nigerian club that plays its Football here in Lagos. Mr. Wenger would have been buried long ago. D biggest problem 2 d team is Wenger. He claims he knows it all, dats his biggest problem. As long as he remains d manager, d team’s fortunes will keep dwindling. He has had his best days. There had been coaches b/4 he came, so its high time he left. I feel so much pain watching my beloved team suffering.
