Cazorla to be unveiled, Sahin to follow and Almunia speaks.

Good Morning,

I can boldly say Santi Cazorla is an Arsenal player. He signed a contract to play with us for the next four season on a deal worth £70k a week. He joined up with his new team mates at the training
ground last Thursday when he had his medical and then went back to London Colney on friday to check all the necessary things needed then he flew back to spain to get the other part of the deal signed.

I was told by my reliable source that, the club expect the European cup winner to travel with the team to Germany tomorrow and he expect the deal to be announced today.

He won’t do a Mata on us after Manuel Almunia confirmed in an interview the signing of his fellow countryman, with two of his former team mates( Julio Baptista and Maresca ) also wishing him the best at Arsenal.

Away from Cazorla, Turkish Media are reporting Arsenal are in advanced talks with Real Madrid over midfielder Nuri Şahin. They said we are in the process of trying to complete a deal which would see Şahin move to the North London on a one-year loan move but the main sticking point had been us wanting a future purchase option, however, the latest reports suggest an agreement has been reached.
With the latest negotiations been over the percentage of Şahin’s wages we will pay the player.

Jose Mourinho recently gave Şahin the green light to make the move, saying “If he stays,he’s not a problem for me, he’s one more solution.
We leave it in his hands. Be happy.
“Decide what you want to decide, to be happy. If you decide to leave we are going to help you to leave. If you decide to stay, we are going to support you and try to succeed this season.”
Whiles Manchester United and Galatasaray have also been linked with the 23-year-old Turkish international however, we are currently closest to securing a move.
Şahin is expected to joined the team this week before we fly to Germany for our last pre season game against FC Koln.

Finally. Former number 1 Manuel Almunia is looking forward to watching
how Wenger will builds a new side.
Almunia who was released by the club on June 30 moved to Watford, where he has replaced Scott Loach as their first-team goalkeeper.

Arsenal’s apparent reluctance to spend
money during transfer windows has been
a source of much controversy, but Almunia is confident Wenger can bring in young talent and see them shine.
“As a player at Arsenal, it is hard to see the best players go to other clubs every year. They have missed a lot of great players in the last few years,” Almunia told the Sunday Mirror.
“The first year I came to England, I thought ‘Oh, I’m going to win a lot of things with Arsenal’ but the change then started. The club has been changing every year.”
The arrival of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud is an encouraging start, according to Almunia, but they won’t cover for the loss of Robin van Persie if he does leave the Emirates this summer.
“One of these years, everything has to come together and be perfect, and now is the time for Arsenal,” Almunia said.
“They’ve signed some good players this year, Santi Cazorla is fantastic.”

Don’t forget to wish our captain a belated birth on his twitter page @Persie_Official.

  1. the signings are good especially cazorla and podolksi but we need solidity in the defence to cover up especially the right back to be able to compete for silverware

  2. do we really need sahin as that much in our team, hope its just addition but all we need after +3 in pody, G12 n awaiting cazorla is a strong utility defensive back up, our midfield is already stronger most especially on return of jack(d depatment will feel a condruom), common le professour, bring on mammoud sakho!

  3. Yap,wenger is about to recieve ma congrats but may he not let niang , llorris ,sahin n sign a replacement for sagna n i’ll salute him 4 i will be assured of silverware

  4. Happy birthday RVP !!! But, my advise to you is that you should think very well before you make a decision to quit from this great fc.Though, it’s less for you decide now or never good luck.
